It is United Learning’s aim that all our schools are safe places where pupils can learn and flourish free from bullying. We are committed to ensuring that the school environment is one where bullying is actively discouraged and where any incidents of bullying are well managed in accordance with a clear set of procedures. United Learning schools adopt a variety of measures to combat bullying when it occurs and, even more importantly, to prevent it. Where a pupil engages in severe or persistent bullying the sanction may ultimately be exclusion.

United Learning is committed to ensuring each school has its own effective anti-bullying strategy which is drawn up with regard to relevant legislation and governmental guidance. All our schools keep accurate records of bullying incidents and the analysis of incidents and the effectiveness of anti-bullying procedures are reviewed at least annually by the Local Governing Body.
